About us
Rooted in three centuries of faith, planted in the Crescenta Valley
Foothill Community Church was organized in 1988 in the Crescenta Valley. A daughter congregation of the Los Angeles Seventh Day Baptist Church, we trace our roots all the way back to seventeenth-century England, the birthplace of Baptists.

While our name gives away one of our main emphases — we keep the seventh day holy — the more significant mark of our church is our concept of covenant. We covenant to love God, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. The covenant is the glue that holds the church together.
“Our church is a family of families, bound together by a loving covenant. Our unity is based on our love for God and for each other.”
We hope you will feel free to stop in and visit us some time. We think you will be glad that you did.
